Today was an interesting day. We woke up at 7:30am this time, so we had an additional 30 minutes to sleep in. It was foggy as hell outside and very, very damp. The dark photo was from day two in the evening and the brighter one was in this morning's. Our percussion section started working on West Side Story percussion part. It's a very intense part with all the percussion section instruments written in on 37 pages. I get to play the mallet percussion (bells (glockenspiel), xylophone, vibraphone) and the timbales. Oh yeah, and legendary percussion coaches are legendary. All I have to say.I also really appreciate the effort the UCSC cafeteria people put in trying to have the biggest variety of ice cream flavors possible, but seriously, sweet potato? (I heard it also tasted good). I chickened out though, fearing that it would taste like pumpkin innards with too much nutmeg like with Andrew's sweet potato the night before. Curfew check is also at 11:30, but the person who walks and checks that we are in our dorms just came around at 11:05-ish.Let's get ready for an interesting Wednesday tomorrow. There will also be a cello recital and will also blog on that! :] Well, I'm gonna go edit some videos my roommate and I made. Peace~s
