Poetry.

Hmm. I've decided to try and do what my friend macplo has been doing recently.
Here are some metaphors I wrote up half asleep:

the immune system is like a big computer. when the human body is attacked, it tries to defend. same with a computer that has an antivirus system properly installed on there.

a pathogen is like a computer virus, it gets into the computer and makes the computer run worse just like in the human body.

a b cell is like an ai that acts like a firewall, it just automatically tries to block all possible ways the virus can screw the body up.

a killer t cell is like a super antivirus, it just kills everything in the system.

a helper t cell is like the tech support helping the user with the antivirus, only it just helps the body act against the virus.

a memory t cell is like the quarantine of the antivirus, it stores everything.

a suppressor t cell is like the user, who after several hours of frustration, decides to shut down the whole computer and reboot. similarly, in the human body that cell just tries to turn off all of the viruses.

a macrophage is like the antivirus itself; it takes all the viruses and other files that you might need.

antibodies are like the operating system, it just acts against the virus.
